The viamobil eco s intuitive ErgoDrive control system makes pushing and braking the wheelchair extremely easy. To move the wheelchair forwards and backwards, all you have to do is push or lift the steering wheel – this is a natural movement and therefore within everyone s reach. The entire system of controls and commands on the viamobil eco share the same philosophy of ease and simplicity for the passenger.

Thanks to its intelligent ErgoDrive handle, pushing or locking a chair with the viamobil eco is child s play. There is a sensor on the handle that detects when the companion wants to move the chair and activates the system. When you press the handle the chair moves forwards and when you lift the handle it moves backwards.
