Anatomically Shaped Achilles Tendon Elastic Foot

Achimed is an elastic foot for the Achilles tendon, with anatomically shaped silicone pads, for gentle cushioning of the tendon.

The compression mesh and silicone pads have a massage effect that stimulates the healing process. The soft comfort zone, with special wiring in the ankle area, prevents constrictions and pinch points. With separate silicone heels positioned simultaneously in both shoes to relieve the Achilles tendon. In highly elastic Clima-Comfort mesh, which activates breathability and wicks away moisture.

Intended use:

All indications where soft tissue compression is required with local compression pad(s) on the Achilles tendon, e.g.:
- Acute and chronic inflammation of the Achilles tendon.
- Aquilodynia.
- Aquilobursitis.

Contraindications (absolute):
- No known side effects that influence the whole body. However, if the aid (or the like) is tightened too tightly, local pressure effects or constriction of blood vessels or nerves may occur. For this reason, under the following conditions and before applying the aid, you should speak to your doctor, Skin diseases or injuries in the area of use, especially with inflammatory symptoms (excessive heating, swelling or redness).
- Disorders of sensitivity and perfusion of the legs or feet (eg in the case of diabetes).
- Disorders in lymphatic drainage, as well as unclear edema of soft tissues, beyond the area in which it is used.
- Any combination with other products (eg compression stockings) must be discussed in advance with the doctor in charge.
