Modular stabilizing hip orthosis that can be used interchangeably on either the left or right side of the hip. Made of high-density polyethylene.
- Consisting of a pelvic band and a thigh support (both shell-shaped), which are connected through a joint that is in turn adjustable in flexion-extension from 0° to 90° in 10° intervals, with abduction in the 0°, 15° and 30° positions.
- The foam lining on the inside and the velvet lining on the outside contribute to the plastic accessories of the orthosis not coming into direct contact with the patient.
- All fabrics of the orthosis are removable, allowing them to be washed, resulting in proper hygiene of the orthosis.
Indications:
- Post-operative stabilization after total hip replacement.
- Complications after a hip arthroplasty or dislocation.
- Post reduction of dislocation or unstable prostheses.
- Post resection of the femoral head.
- Fractures.
- Osteoporosis (low bone quality).
