Short fixed boot with range of motion control - protect.Walker.

- Available in 4 sizes.
- Velcro system.
- Short height.

Product features:
- Available in 4 sizes, adjustable circumference.
- Velcro systems facilitate wound inspection and personal hygiene.
- The fixed boot has the option of normal or short height.

Intended use:
- Convex sole provides a natural gait.

Indications:
- Injuries or surgery to the foot or toes.
- Grade I - III ankle sprain.
- Stable or surgically stabilised fractures of the foot or ankle.

Definitions:
- Open all straps and remove the inner liner from inside the walker boot.
- Open all the velcro fastenings on the inner liner. Ask the wearer to place the foot and leg inside the liner.
- Close the velcro fasteners and check that the liner fits snugly over the patient s leg.
- Make sure the plastics fully cover the Velcro strip on the inner sides of the splints. Ask the wearer to place the foot inside the walker boot between the two stabilizing bars. The foot should be positioned so that both splints are centered on the sides of the leg.
- The splints can also be corrected for an optimal fit and to ensure lateral alignment on the leg. Comfort pads can be placed, moved or removed on the inner sides of the splints (in the ankle area), for a better medio-lateral fit.
- After making sure that the splints are properly fitted and aligned (center line on the sides of the leg), the plastics can be removed from the splints. The inner liner stays in place because of the Velcro strap located on the inner side of the stabilizing splints.
- Close the straps that secure the wearer s foot to the inner liner. These must remain firmly in place, but can also be adjusted individually by opening and closing the Velcro.
- Any excess material can be removed.
- Close the straps that secure the leg between the splints. Start with the strap closest to the ankle. All three straps should fit snugly together.
- Ask the wearer to walk a short distance with the orthosis on to check that it is securely in place.

Remove the boot:
- If the wearer is allowed to remove the boot during recovery, or in the case of a check-up, the straps and the Velcro which closes the inner lining should be opened so that the wearer can remove the foot while keeping the boot intact. This allows him/her to quickly put the boot back on with proper alignment.

Material Composition:
- Polyester, Nylon, Polyurethane foam, Fiberglass, Polyamide, Aluminum.
