Composed of foam with a great support capacity, it gives structure to the pillow. It functions as the pillow s skeleton, in order to define the weight-bearing capacities in the different areas.
Allows a perfect immersion of the bony protuberances (sacrum, ischion) in the material: this means a sufficient immersion of the area in risk, but also a controlled and stable immersion before reaching the limit of the pillow.
Moulded viscoelastic foam with memory effect. It molds itself to the body contour increasing the surface of contact with the skin. cushion and, consequently, reducing the pressures. Improved user comfort and stability. High-density foam (80 Kg/m3) to prevent deformation and complete material collapse.
Multi-support insert. The different weight-bearing capacities in the anterior and posterior regions The back of the cushion allows the user to be correctly positioned in a sitting position, thus reducing loads on the ischial area.

Indications:
– When pressure ulcers already exist (grade I to III according to EPUAP). The patient is able to change position or the pressure points are relieved by professionals.
– When there is a high to very high risk of developing pressure ulcers (according to the Braden, Norton, Waterlow tables,…).
Breathable cover with non-slip base:
- Waterproof material – cover suitable for incontinents.
- Facilitates skin breathing by reducing the effects of maceration.
- Prevents the pad from sliding over the support surface.
