PütterFlex* is a brown, bielastic, short-traction bandage with textile elasticity and an extensibility of approx. 90% in terms of length and approx. 40% in terms of width for very strong compression.
Intended use:
PütterFlex can be used for long-term compression therapy:
- treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) with and without venous leg ulcer (VVP).
- thrombosis/thrombophlebitis.
- chronic edema of other origins (ankle/arm pressure index - IPTB 0.8-1.3).
- Lymphatic edema.
The product can be used on humans by healthcare professionals in clinical and home environments, in combination with padding bandages and inner liner material. PütterFlex is reusable.
Properties:

- Washable: wash the bandage in a normal washing cycle at a temperature of 95 °C.

If necessary, the remaining cushioning ligature material can be used to cushion bony protrusions and tissue recesses (eg, tibia, ankle area). For additional fixation, use adhesive only, not ligature clips. After application, the compression bandage should be checked (eg, patient s toes are well irrigated, patient feels pain) to ensure that the pressure exerted by the bandage is not excessive. If, during therapy with PütterFlex, severe pain, loss of sensation, tingling or visible discoloration of the toes appear, you should immediately contact a healthcare professional and remove the bandage. During PütterFlex therapy, the patient should be encouraged to move.
