Manumed - Splint for immobilization of the wrist of medi.
- Easy to put on due to the open sliding design and integrated retention loops.
- Individual adjustment of the aluminium splint to the hand.
- Comfortable to wear due to the active and breathable material.
The wrist can be immobilized with the Manumed Splint. To put the splint on, the user simply slides it over the hand and closes it by pulling on the loops - the retention loops make it easy to put on.
The aluminium splint can be individually shaped by hand.
The Manumed consists of active and breathable medi Airtex material that ensures it is comfortable to wear.
The Splint can be used for all indications where immobilisation of the wrist is required in at least two directions of movement with free finger mobility, such as:
- Immobilization after distortions.
- Tendonitis and/or tenosynovitis.
- After distal radius fracture (non-surgical, post-operative).
- Rheumatoid arthritis.
- Carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Post-operative after repair of triangular fibrocartilage complex.

The Manumed has two main functions:
- First, to immobilise the wrist, thereby reducing movement-related pain.
- Second, to immobilize the wrist while allowing the fingers and thumb to move freely.
Mode of action:
- Reduction of movement-related pain due to volume stabilisation.
- Immobilizing the wrist while allowing the fingers and thumb to move freely.
Intended Objective:
- Wrist arm to immobilize the wrist in at least two directions of mobilization.
Material components: aluminium, polyamide.
