The Double Bivalve Vest for Men is a sacrolumbar thoracic vest manufactured with low-density polyethylene with a thickness of four millimeters and lined with a padded fabric that can be easily removed, thus allowing washing and proper hygiene while protecting at the same time the patient.

The height-adjustable padded splint in the front area allows to achieve a complete extension of the spine. Polyethylene is thermoformable, allowing adjustments to be made to the vest with a hot air gun.

Indications/Effects:
In situations where it is necessary to immobilize the area of spine such as in pre- and postoperative procedures.
- Vertebral fractures.
- Herniated discs.
- Osteoporosis.
- Spondylolysis, spondylolisthesis, spondyloarthropathy, painful scoliosis in adults, etc.
- Rupture or torsion of ligaments.
- Neoplasm that gives rise to degeneration in the spine.
- Thoracic kyphosis in the middle and lower zone of the spine.
- Prevention of spinal stenosis in patients bedridden.
